Salena attained a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego and also a Master Degree of Fine Arts in Creative Media from the City University of Hong Kong. She was ranked among the top 5% of students in her college life, and her short film "Food Danger" was screened at the Independence Film Festival at Tijuana, Mexico in 2010. She was an intern in the Communication Department of UCSD after graduation. By preparing teaching materials of sign language, she researched and studied children education. Furthermore, she is an enthusiastic supporter of public welfare, such as voluntary services for the elderly and children.

Recently, she took part in a mini musical, Mermen Theatre’s “What Happens in New York,” as both co-producer and actress.


美國加州大學(聖地牙哥分校)傳理系學士。香港城市大學創意媒體系碩士。於美國加州大學時期,被教授評為最近五年任期內的 "Top 5% Student",而其短片作品 "Food Danger" 更被送往2010年墨西哥獨立影展中參展。曾任職美國加州大學(聖地牙哥分校)傳理系實習生,為聾啞兒童準備手語教材,研習兒童教育。除學術上研究,亦熱心社會公益事務。受孟子啟發「老吾老以及人之老,幼吾幼以及人之幼」,早在中學時期已經經常參與義工活動,包括照顧老人,和教導小孩等。

除中學時期的歌唱比賽合唱組取獲季軍,及團體組取獲亞軍之外,並無於音樂方面有任何更大的成就。及後因為對音樂擁有濃厚興趣,打算探索更深更闊的音樂世界,機緣巧合底下,參加了2014年Theatre Noir Foundations (TNF) 的冬季音樂劇工作坊(Winter GoGoGo!)。導師乃當時任職TNF 的駐團演教員何冠儀,歌唱、演戲,以至排舞,都由何冠儀一手指導。曾參演的劇目有何冠儀包辦編、導、演的《Music Fantasia》。

現為香港腕錶雜誌《名錶論壇》總監之一,亦為香港腕錶雜誌《三寶殿》撰寫專欄〈文化廊〉。

由 Mermen Theatre 製作的小型音樂劇《What Happens in New York》是她最近期參與的作品,同時擔任監制及演員。
